At Blue Texas Pools, our Weekly Maintenance Service begins with a comprehensive 5-point water test to ensure your pool is safe, balanced, and swim-ready. We test for:

• Chlorine or salt levels

• pH

• Total Alkalinity

• Cyanuric Acid (CYA)

• Calcium Hardness

We follow chemical guidelines recommended by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) to maintain safe and comfortable swimming conditions.

After testing, we perform a full cleaning and inspection, including:

• Emptying all skimmer and pump baskets

• Skimming the surface to remove floating debris

• Vacuuming the entire pool and spa floor

• Brushing walls, steps, and benches

• Inspecting pool equipment

If any equipment issues are found, we’ll notify you right away. No repairs are ever made without your consent.

We’re also happy to accommodate personal requests during service visits. Our goal is to make pool ownership enjoyable.​​

Chemical-Only Service

Our Chemical-Only Service is perfect for homeowners who enjoy doing their own cleaning but want the peace of mind that their water is properly balanced and safe. This service includes:

• Weekly 5-point water testing (chlorine/salt, pH, alkalinity, CYA, calcium hardness)

• Chemical adjustments using basic sanitizers and balancers

• Log of chemical levels after each visit

• Monitoring of water clarity and overall condition

We use the same chemical guidelines recommended by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) to ensure your water stays safe and comfortable. All basic chemicals are included, no surprise fees.

One-Time Pool Cleaning

Need a one-time pool cleanup? Whether you're opening for the season, recovering from a storm, or preparing for a party, we’ve got you covered.

This service includes:

• Full 5-point water test and basic chemical adjustment

• Skimming, brushing, and vacuuming

• Basket emptying and debris removal

• Basic equipment check

We’ll restore your pool to clean, swimmable condition in a single visit. One-time cleanings are a great way to reset your pool before resuming regular service or listing a home for sale.

Algae Treatment

Custom pricing based on severity

Battling green, yellow, or black algae? Our Algae Treatment service uses targeted chemical processes and deep brushing to eliminate algae blooms and return your pool to safe, clear conditions.

Depending on the severity, treatment may include:

• Shock dosing and algaecide application

• Multiple service visits over several days

• Deep wall brushing with stainless or nylon brushes

• Filter pressure monitoring and optional filter clean

We’ll assess the condition of your pool and give you a clear action plan and pricing before treatment begins.

Filter & Salt Cell Cleaning

$99 per cleaning

Your filter and salt cell work hard, don’t let buildup slow them down. We offer standalone cleanings to keep your equipment running efficiently.

This service includes:

• Full disassembly and thorough cleaning of filter cartridges, DE grids, or sand filters

• Acid wash or scale removal on salt cells (if needed)

• Inspection of filter housing and O-rings

• Reassembly and performance check

Regular filter and salt cell cleanings improve water clarity, reduce strain on equipment, and extend the life of your pool system. We recommend this service 2–3 times per year, or as needed.
